Myth: Humans possess a soul that cannot die.

Context: “Perish” means die—not suffer forever. Immortality is conditional, not intrinsic.

Truth: The soul that sins shall die. Eternal life is a gift from God, not a default.

Fallacy #2 – We Go to Heaven or Hell Immediately After Death

Context: David “is still in the grave.” Jesus said, “No one has ascended to heaven except the Son.”

Truth: Resurrection occurs at Christ’s return. The dead sleep until then.
